Here at the Beach Hostel we aim to offer you more than just a clean, comfortable, warm and friendly place. We have been traveller's ourselves and this helps us to better understand your needs. We hope we can make your stay one to remember, so that you tell your friends about us. We would like you to experience and enjoy the atmosphere we have created at the Beach Hostel! Try our famous wholemeal bread and muffins, watch the incredible West Coast sunset's from our lounge and veranda. Make use of our Internet facilities, read books, play games and simply chill out. Night walks along the beach and around the lagoon are a must do, with crashing waves, beneath a most spectacular southern hemisphere starscape. We hope you will make many new friends as you share in this beautiful relaxing place.

We have space for 44 people in our two houses. The Beach Hostel right on the beach, with outdoor spa pool, Internet and e-mail. The Seaside House, set in a quiet garden location, close to the Punakaiki Tavern this is a great place for larger groups. Laundry facilities available at both houses. There are no shops nearby, please bring everything you need. We also have several tent sites available for use.
