The best time for the blowholes to perform at their best at Punakaiki Rocks is for the following to be at optimum.

At the peak of high tide, and an on-shore wind blowing the waves into shore. If both of those things are happening you should get a good show.

West Coast Shuttle

We operate a daily service from Greymouth to Christchurch seven days a week departing Greymouth at 8am via Arthur‚s pass arriving at the ch-ch airport about 11.30am and in the square at midday. We depart ch-ch from 123 Worcester St at 3pm and Ch-ch airport between 3.15 and 3.30pm arriving in Greymouth at about 7pm

K Bus

Daily coach and shuttle timetable services covering the top of the South Island, New Zealand.

Linking Christchurch, Kaikoura, Picton, Blenheim, Nelson, Motueka, Golden Bay, Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks, St Arnaud, Westport, Karamea and Greymouth.
