Hokitika Gold Rush 150 is a year long celebration commemorating the 150th anniversary of the founding of Hokitika. There are many events planned to celebrate the birth of this fabulous local town.
Greymouth Christmas Parade and Carnival on Saturday 5 December

A Fantastic old-fashioned country horse race meeting. The main race, the Kumara Gold Nuggets boasts a real gold nugget as the prize. Bring friends and family, enjoy entertainment, food and fun.
For over 25 years, teams have gotten their best golf clubs out to test their skills along the Hokitika Beach. Often in fancy dress, teams are tested!
