Ahaura Hunting and Fishing competition is an annual competition that attracts hunters from all over New Zealand.

Throughout the years the competition has continued to grow and is a fun weekend for the whole family.

There is an adults section and a child's section:

The options for the kids/youth section are: Trout, Eel, Goat, Possums, Hares and Magpies

Adults section: Deer, Fallow Deer, Chamois, Boar, Goat, Trout

This event occurs every Easter weekend starting on Thursday evening and the final weigh in is from 1:30-3:30pm on the Sunday. For further details please click here
