Glacier Country Helicopters is a local, family owned and operated company based in Franz Josef. Our team are passionate about what we do and to us it’s more than just a scenic flight – it’s a real West Coast experience.

Jump into one of our modern machines and fly across the rainforests, over the glaciers and check out the mountains that form our incredible backyard. Our landing includes 10 minutes on the snow, plenty of time for photos and to throw a few snowballs. Want a bit longer? Talk nicely to the pilot and this can normally be arranged free of charge!
